The CPKC Holiday Train returns to St. Louis Park on Thursday, December 12! Arrive on site ahead of the train to enjoy warm food and beverages, listen to holiday music, drop off your food shelf donation, and grab a good spot.
This free event is presented by Citizens Independent Bank. Attendees are invited to bring a financial donation or healthy food item for the St. Louis Park Emergency Program. The mission of the Holiday Train is to address food insecurity in the communities it stops.
People are welcome to start gathering about 4:00. There will be Family-friendly activities before the train’s arrival. The illuminated Holiday Train arrival will be about 6:00pm, followed immediately by a live musical performance.
The concert from the train will only be viewable from the west side of the tracks. Once the train pulls in, it will not be possible to cross to the other side of the tracks. We recommend getting to the event by 5:45pm to get a good viewing spot. It will be busy, so please give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the event! For more information about parking, view the parking map.
