Effective Immediately:

STEP will no longer accept food donations through at least December 31. This is in response to the governor’s Stay Safe Plan and due to the overwhelming amount of food donations STEP has already received.

Please instead share with neighbors or save your donations for January and February, which is typically a higher need time for food donations.

We appreciate your understanding.

Be part of eliminating hunger in St. Louis Park. Help fill STEP’s food shelves with your own food drive. We rely heavily on community-led food drives, large and small.

What we need: STEP is in need of the everyday non- perishable and household items you use every day in your household. Think or your favorite meal ingredients, the spices you cook with all the time, and the healthy foods you and/or your family eat on a regular basis. We also need those every day non-food household items like toilet paper, paper towels, napkins and cleaning products.

What we don’t need: STEP does not accept perishable (refrigerated or frozen) items, used, open, damaged or outdated food. Please carefully check expiration dates before donating items to STEP.

No photo description available.

Where to donate: Please drop off donations to STEP during our regular open hours at the back of the building. Pull up in the alley to the red door and ring the doorbell. A volunteer will answer, take your donations, and provide you with a receipt.

Donations can also be left in the Donation Bins in the front of the Knollwood and West End Cub Foods.
