STEP “Meets Standards” for Nonprofit Excellence
STEP has again been found to “Meets Standards” by the Charities Review Council. Less than 300 other Minnesota charities currently meet the rigorous standards. (There are over 10,000 active charities registered in the state.)

The Charities Review Council requires organizations to meet 25 standards in the areas of fundraising, financial activity, governance and public disclosure. An organization is required to go through a thorough process every three years.
